There are multiple methods to test and refine a proposal before launch. Some of the most effective include:

  • Conjoint Analysis: Helps you understand which combination of features your users value most and what trade-offs they are willing to make.

  • Product Optimization (card sort): Helps prioritize features based on perceived value. What must your product absolutely include? What is desirable but nonessential?

  • MaxDiff Analysis: Clearly identifies which aspects are most and least valued among multiple options.

  • Concept Testing: Evaluates the real potential of an idea. Is it attractive? Relevant? What would be its fair price? Would customers buy it?
